Deviator: Hollow Knight but better?

Excited about Hollow Knight and looking for a similar vibe? No worries! Gami Studio's new game, Deviator, gives you what you're looking for. At first glance it may seem like a Hollow Knight clone, with a similar art style, a small hero with a small blade and a world full of dangers, accompanied by a beautifully designed melancholic environment.
But a closer look at the latest detailed development log trailer shows that Deviator is more than just a clone. It draws inspiration from the popular Metroidvania title but adds its own unique twists and quirks!
Deviator is scheduled to be released for PC in 2024, and a demo will be available soon!
Deviator impresses with parry mechanics and influences from different cultures
The world in Deviator is experiencing a strange crisis. People's memories change and no longer fit their surroundings. You have the power to undo this and return the world to its original state. Your mission is to uncover the truth behind this mysterious condition and heal people's memories, but at what cost?
Similar to other Metroidvania games, you will be able to travel through the world, encounter numerous dangers, gain new abilities and unlock more areas. What sets this game apart is its focus on a parry and defense system familiar from games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Lies of P or the lesser known title Thymesia.
I believe this game has great potential and is a promising indie title. The Deviator demo will be released on February 1, 2024 and will already give us a first look!
